Job Purpose:

To ensure all lines in your area are supply of product and clear of any unwanted boxes/equipment.
To safely operate a Powered Pallet Truck or Forklift within a chilled fresh-produce environment, ensuring the
efficient movement of stock, accurate order picking, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and product
quality.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• To ensure accuracy of all plans and that the systems are in place to capture waste, ensure correct
  stock/packaging are used.
• To limit and improve waste across all aspects of the operation i.e product, packaging and line
  downtime.
• To ensure all paperwork relevant to your position is filled out correctly and filed
• To ensure all health and safety policies are adhered to in all areas at all times
• Report any breaches in health and safety policy to a supervisor / manager

Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications:

• Must have a valid POEP/Forklift licence
• Previous experience in fresh produce, food distribution, or chilled warehousing preferred.
