Job Purpose

To ensure all products are picked, scanned and loaded correctly for relevant customers and depots. Maintain daily recording sheets. Despatch the drivers with correct paperwork and assist with the creating and delivering of orders

Key Responsibilities include:

• Understand relevant KPI’s and performance targets in your area
• To ensure all areas of despatch is done in an efficient way and KPI targets are met
• To take action regarding low efficiencies and poor practices.
• Help develop Lean and CI processes in the area.
• Maximise productivity through good organisation and motivation of fellow team members
• To correctly locate boxed product into cold stores following the despatch floor plan
• Read order pick sheets, pick product accurately to dollies and RFID scan to depot
• Load and unload the product efficiently, correctly and safely, ensuring the load is secure.
• Maintain the average number of pallets/dollies picked per hour as per department target, ensuring picked product date coding is correct
