To be hands on and co-ordinate activities and requirements of the nursery packhouse through acting as the 1st point of contact and liaison for Nursery Operatives and Senior Management. To ensure that all materials and equipment are available to support the production needs daily whilst ensuring the business works in an efficient way, enabling it to deliver on customer demands both internally and externally.
Ensure that the quality of all products generated by the lines meets the customer and in house standards. 
Be responsible for line output, including appearance, spread, trim, head, stem level and correct packaging / hardware. 
Ensure products are stored correctly during productive / non-productive times. 
Engage in audits, visits and finished product inspections. 
Work closely with the quality / technical team to create a proactive approach to product quality
To highlight and progress stock and raw material issues ensuring that lines are kept running.  
To act as first point of contact for the planning, technical, stock control, other areas of production, engineering and management to ensure that process coordination is maintained throughout the factory.

To work as part of the team assisting in all nursery duties potting, spacing, pinching and packing, to ensure a high-quality product is delivered to our customer whilst ensuring product quality, safety and legality are maintained.

To inform Team Leader/Area Leader of any quality issues which affect the quality of the product. 
To take action against poor practices. 
Help develop Lean and CI processes in the area. 
 Report any quality concerns to Team Leader/Area Leader. 
To ensure all products are prepared, checked and packed to the required specification. 
Ensure lines are loaded with product and packaging. 
To ensure that completed trays are collated on to pallets ready for despatch.
To inform Team Leader/Area Leader of any quality issues which affect the quality of the product. 
To follow and ensure others follow correct procedures in place to prevent damage. 
To ensure all products are packed in line with the current product specification, including product quality, labelling, packaging and boxes or any agreed variance as instructed by the quality team 
Report any concerns to your Team Leader or QC. 
To minimise the level of rework through the Right First Time approach. Putting any product, you are in doubt about on hold until outcome is resolved.
